When rumors go wrong.

It is easy to see a situation where a rumor can get started, especially in this fast paced world of entertainment, but there are times when those rumors can get out of hand. That was the case with Michelle Keegan who discovered a strange rumor floating around that she had 6 toes on her right foot based off of a photo that was blurry and taken at a strange angle where the side of her foot had an appearance that might be mistake for an extra toe. Of course this is something that would have been noticed before if it were true especially since in that picture she was wearing sandals. Anyone wishing to hide an extra toe would not wear foot wear that exposed the toes.
How did she handle this problem?
When you are faced with an untrue rumor there are plenty of ways to deal with it. You could choose to ignore it or seek legal assistance with your problems, but Michelle Keeghan took a simpler path. She just posted a picture of her feet so that anyone looking at the pictures could easily tell that the feet were hers, but also that there are 10 perfect toes on her feet. There can be no argument about that once you have seen the pics and even with the supposed “proof” of the other pictures, it is easy to know that these are an accurate representation of MIchelle’s number of toes.
Where did the photos come from?
Michelle and her husband, Mark, were out celebrating her 30th birthday with a group of friends and during the celebration many photos were taken by a variety of photographers including one specific image that caught her feet at just the right angle to show what was mistaken for an extra toe. The quality of this particular image was poor. Fortunately, everyone had a great night for the celebration, and Michelle was able to prove that her feet are free of extra digits. One simple post on Twitter was enough to settle that issue.
Be careful what you believe in the world of social media.
When it comes to celebrities, there is no limit to the number and kinds of rumors you will encounter in the world of social media. In this case of the extra toe, the matter was quickly solved is disproved, but remember that there are many rumors out there that are just as strange that need to be reconsidered as we move forward with out approach to the world around us. Perhaps the next rumor will be true, but it will be hard to be certain until there is definitive proof one way or the other. Make sure to look for verification before you simply trust what you see on a social media post. Give the celebrity a chance to respond before you jump to the conclusion that they have an extra toe or may an extra head they have hidden under their backpack.
