Is Quentin Tarantino’s Foot Fetish Waning?
Some men (and women, too!) find the foot to be the sexiest part of the human body. Gifted director, Quentin Tarantino, is one of them and he’s been pretty open about his foot fetish. In fact, his work often features lingering camera shots of bare feet.
However, his latest cinematic effort, Hateful Eight, doesn’t have the usual foot fetish footage! This may be a signal that Quentin’s foot fetish is in remission. It’s also possible that he’s tired of getting razzed about it and therefore decided not to make it a feature of his most recent feature film!
Tarantino is brilliant! His films are very provocative and they feature some truly realistic and compelling dialogue, as well as glimmers of wit which lighten the tone and provide stark contrast to the ultra-violence. This auteur and director used to work in a video store and it’s safe to say that he’s seen a ton of films and honed his writing and direction based on decades of being an avid student of the cinema.
In terms of showcasing the beauty of feet in his films, he did so in the highly-entertaining movie, Jackie Brown, as well as in Pulp Fiction, which is probably his most famous film. Jackie Brown had the longest foot fetish sequences. However, Uma Thurman’s large and well-shaped feet (she’s extremely tall!) were also showcased for a relatively extensive time frame, during Pulp Fiction.
Tarantino is a master of pacing and his foot fetish scenes blend in seamlessly with the others. As well, he covers a lot of subject matter in his films, so he’s very versatile. For example, his hypnotic film, Inglorious Basterds, shone a spotlight on the evils of the Nazis and the terror of Jews who were hunted by the SS during WII. In Pulp Fiction, modern society and its darker characters were placed in the spotlight. During Django Unchained, a stunning performance from Jamie Foxx made this exposition of the horrors of slavery truly memorable.
Quentin Probably Still Loves Feet
Fetishes tend to last, so Quentin is likely still a fan of female feet. There’s nothing wrong with it and it’s more common than you might expect. All parts of the human body may be the subject of fetishes. Some people like long eyelashes, others love the dimples in the lower back and some prefer the more obvious sexual “triggers”, such as breasts, thighs or bare male chests.
What we find sensual and sexy varies from person to person. The key to unlocking our own sensuality is understanding that it’s ok to have fetishes. They should be a source of shame. However, unlike Tarantino, most people do keep their fetishes private. They prefer to share information about them with a select few, such as intimate partners.
Now that you know more about Tarantino and his foot fetish, you’re definitely in the loop. If you’re a guy with a foot fetish, you may also love women in high heels or strappy sandals. Anything which highlights the beauty of female feet will probably be deeply appealing.
